Who handles your data
Quantrex runs Rota Ásia (rotaasia.blog) and is the controller of the data described here. You can reach us at info@rotaasia.blog. We follow the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Brazil’s LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), whichever gives you the stronger right.
What we collect
Your quiz answers: the choices you make about your situation, goal, income and savings band, profile, lifestyle and priorities. We ask for bands, never exact figures. Your name and email, but only if you fill in the form asking us to send the plan. Usage metrics through Google Analytics 4, and only after you accept them in the banner, with your IP address anonymised. And how you arrived here: the campaign parameters in the link, or the site that referred you.
What stays in your own browser
The site keeps a few things in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers: whether you accepted measurement, your language, your currency, and how you first arrived. If you submit the form, it also keeps a copy of the plan that was sent, and that copy includes the name and email you typed. None of it leaves your device on its own. It stays until you clear it, so on a shared computer it is worth clearing your site data when you are done. Doing that removes all of it and the site keeps working normally.
What we use it for
To build your plan and email it to you. To reply when you ask us about your route. And to understand which content actually helps people, so we can write more of it. We do not use your answers to build an advertising profile, and we do not run ads on the site.
Legal basis
Consent, given when you tick the box on the form and when you accept measurement in the banner (GDPR art. 6(1)(a), LGPD art. 7, I). You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing does not undo what was lawful before.
Who else touches it
We never sell your data and never hand it to anyone for their own marketing. Three companies process it on our behalf, under our instructions: Google, which holds the spreadsheet where the form lands, sends the plan by email, and runs Google Analytics; Cloudflare, which hosts and serves the site; and nobody else. If the form fails to reach our server, the site falls back to opening your own email client so you can send the plan to yourself, in which case your email provider is involved instead of ours.
Partner links
Some links on the site are partner links. When you click one, that company knows the visit came from Rota Ásia and may set its own cookie on its own site, under its own privacy policy, not ours. Today that applies to 12Go, GetYourGuide, SafetyWing and Airalo. Booking, Agoda and Wise are linked without any commission. We never pass your name, your email or your quiz answers to any of them, and clicking is never required to read anything here. Every one of these links is marked on the page.
How long we keep it
We keep what you sent for as long as it is useful to talk to you about your route, and we delete it when you ask. Google Analytics data expires on Google’s own schedule and is not tied to your name.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, take it elsewhere, withdraw your consent, or object to how we use it (GDPR arts. 15 to 22, LGPD art. 18). Reply to any email from us, or write to info@rotaasia.blog saying what you want, for example "delete my data". We answer within 15 days. If you think we handled it badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority, or to Brazil’s ANPD.
Cookies and measurement
Nothing from a third party loads before you accept it. Decline, or simply leave without choosing, and no measurement script runs at all. Accept, and Google Analytics 4 loads with IP anonymisation on. You can change your mind by clearing the site data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Children
The site is written for adults planning a move and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from that age group. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When the site starts doing something new with data, this page is updated in the same change, not later. The version in force is always the one you are reading, with the date at the top.
